• Begin in your fighting stance, with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and hands up protecting your chin. Your elbows should be close to your body, with your hands in front of your face, ready to react to incoming strikes.
2. Recognise the Punch:
• As your opponent throws a straight punch (either a jab or cross), immediately recognise the trajectory of the punch. The straight punch is aimed directly at your head or upper body, and your goal is to block it before it makes contact.
